My name is Liz Crouse (she/her), and I am a junior at Elon University originally from Cary, North Carolina, just outside of Raleigh. In May of 2022, I plan to graduate from Elon with a B.A. in Professional Writing and Rhetoric and minors in Creative Writing and Political Science.

In the spring semester of 2021, I had the unique opportunity to serve as the Publishing Intern for Elon University's Center for Engaged Learning. In this role, I worked to fine-tune various aspects of the Center for Engaged Learning's online presence. Some of my responsibilities included copyediting content for weekly posting on CEL's blog, creating videos to promote the Open Access Book Series, and graphics to spread awareness about initiatives.

Throughout the semester, I have learned important lessons about the field of SoTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning), professional writing, and the professional environment. I am excited to be able to share my work and progress in this portfolio. Enjoy!
